Rates:

  • Each home must be able to support itself because currently, there have been no provisions made for Room and Boards to directly receive grant funding to support housing the homeless.

  • For this reason rates vary from home to home. Most of the homes are priced at $900-$950 shared.

  • $1,600-$2,000 Private

  • However, in Del Paso Hieghts and Oak Park, prices may be as low as $800. Conversely, in Mid-Town Prices can be as high as $1,500-$2,000.

NOTE-Violent Clients who cause harm to others or destroy property; and, those who have destructive drug and alcohol issues, may not be able to be relocated. But we do try.

Deposits:

  • A Non-refundable deposit is collected at all homes. This is to cover set-up. The fee ranges from $300-$500.

Term:

  • All homes have month-to-month rental agreements requiring a 30-day notice when vacating.

Eviction:

  • We strive to not displace anyone to the street. Instead, we issue a warning to the client to make them aware of the concern and what is necessary to remain housed in that home.

  • If the issue is not resolved, the client is offered the opportunity to be housed in another member’s Room and Board.

*While in the Coalition all homes most meet a certain standard owners can have differing options depending on what each individual operator is able and/or willing to provide.
